Hi everyone, if you're here then you have already heard about what has happened to our great friend and barhand DJ Esken. DJ was diagnosed with Necrotizing fasciitis which is a terrible debilitating situation which only has a survival rate of about 50/50 depending on when it was discovered.
Luckily for us and DJ it was found quickly by our local doctors and he is on his way to recovery but he is not out of the woods. DJ is now in the ICU and will be making strides in the next months and possible years to recover fully from the surgeries and the side effects of the sickness.
As you can guess as a bartender, your health insurance options are not that many so beyond having to face the issue of getting better, he has mounting medical bills that are beyond most peoples comprehension.
So I am asking you the people he has either talked to, listened to, or just lent a kind word to over the years at Poor Richard's Pub to donate what you can! Every little bit helps, and of course we would be more than thankful for anything you could do otherwise!
